1. About these terms

These Terms govern your use of this website and of the UK education consultancy and application support services provided by Point Consultancy, a trading name of Point Consultant Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 13287203), registered office Unit 6 Hill View Studios, 160 Eltham Hill, London, SE9 5EA (“we”, “us”, “our”). By instructing us or using our application portal, you (“you” or “the client”) agree to these Terms. If the student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian instructs us on their behalf.

2. What we do

  • We give information and guidance on studying in the UK: English language schools, undergraduate and foundation programmes, master’s and MBA programmes, and summer schools.
  • We help you choose programmes and schools that suit your goals, level and budget.
  • We help you prepare, check and submit applications to schools, universities and other providers, and the related applications and documents you ask us to support.
  • We help you get ready for your studies and your travel to the UK.

3. Decisions we do not make

Admission decisions are made by the schools and universities themselves, and decisions on any government application are made by the relevant UK authority. We do not control these decisions and cannot guarantee a place, an offer or any other outcome, however carefully an application is prepared.

Information on this website is general and was correct to the best of our knowledge when it was published. Entry requirements, dates and fees are set by each provider and can change, so always check the provider’s own information before you decide.

4. Fees

Any fee for our services is agreed with you in writing before work begins. Our fees do not include tuition fees, accommodation, deposits, application fees charged by providers or UCAS, government fees, translation, courier or travel costs, unless we expressly agree otherwise.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Give us true, accurate and complete information and documents. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything submitted in your name.
  • Tell us promptly about any change in your circumstances that could affect your plans or applications.
  • Reply to our requests for documents or information within a reasonable time, because many applications have fixed deadlines.
  • Keep your private document link to yourself and do not share it with others.

6. Our responsibilities

  • We will give you guidance with reasonable care and skill, based on the information published by providers and official bodies at the time.
  • We will keep you informed about the progress of your file.
  • We will handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of liability

  • Provided we have acted with reasonable care and skill on the information and documents you gave us, we are not liable for a refusal, delay or any other decision made by a school, university, UCAS or a government authority.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by information or documents that were inaccurate, incomplete or provided late.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by providers, couriers or events outside our reasonable control.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

8. Confidentiality

We treat the information you share with us as confidential and use it only for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Ending the engagement

Either of us may end the engagement at any time by email.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
