How It Works
Studying in the UK in four steps
Whether you are thinking about a summer school, an English course, a bachelor’s degree or a master’s, the process follows the same four steps. You always know what happens next, and we only move on when you are ready.
-

1. First consultation
Just send the enquiry form or write to info@point-consultancy.com. In the first consultation we talk about:
- the student’s age and current education,
- their level of English and any test results,
- the goal: learning English, earning a qualification, moving forward in a career, or a summer experience,
- the planned start date and length of study,
- budget and preferred cities.
-

2. Choosing a programme and school
Based on what we have discussed, we put together the options that suit you and explain the differences clearly: entry requirements, number of lessons, length, start dates, location and the fees the school publishes. We always check fees and conditions against the school’s own current information. The decision is yours; we help you reach it with confidence.
-

3. Application and offer
We prepare the documents your programme asks for together with you: diplomas and transcripts, an English test result, a personal statement and reference for undergraduate applications, or a CV and statement of purpose for master’s and MBA applications. Before anything is sent we check that your application is complete and consistent, then we follow up the school’s reply with you. Universities may make an unconditional offer, or a conditional one that depends on you achieving certain grades or an English score.
-

4. Getting ready to travel
Once you have your offer, we plan the next steps with you: the confirmation and payment steps the school asks for, the documents you will need, preparing for the journey and your first days. When we need documents from you, we collect them through a private, time-limited, secure upload link rather than by email.
What you can expect from us
- Clear, plain information in Turkish and English.
- Realistic options chosen for your situation.
- Always knowing what the next step is and what is needed from you.
- Your personal information and documents kept confidential.
Who makes the decisions?
Schools and universities make their own admission decisions. We help make your application strong, complete and on time, but we cannot guarantee an offer. Entry requirements, dates and fees differ from school to school and can change, so we always work from each school’s own current information.
How early should you start?
Undergraduate applications follow the UCAS calendar: they can be sent from September of the year before the course starts, and the deadline for most courses is in January. Master’s programmes set their own dates, and language and summer schools are more flexible, but starting early helps you get the programme and dates you want. That is why we suggest getting in touch as early as you can before your planned start.
To take the first step, just send the enquiry form and we will reply by email.
